On Monday evening, the 10th of March at 7:30pm, there will be an unveiling of a memorial plaque at the Courthouse to honour and recognise the tremendous contribution that Muriel Brown made in her lifetime to the people and organisations of Otautau & Districts. This is a public function open to all who knew and loved Muriel. Following a brief unveiling ceremony, there will be an opportunity for anyone on behalf of themselves or their organisation to say a few words in appreciation of Muriel. A cup of tea and light supper will follow. Members of Muriel's family plan to be present. This event is being sponsored by the Otautau Lions Club and the Otautau Museum Trust.
