Group Visits

Last week, we had a few folks from the Wallacetown Senior Citizens visit the museum. This week, we've had St Andrew Keas and the Girl Guide Brownies visit. I had the privilege of hosting the Brownies, and I must say, they had lots of questions. I spent more time answering questions that giving my talk! It's been great having these groups and sharing the Ngai Tahu display with them.

The Ngai Tahu display will be closing this Sunday, so we hope others will take the plunge and come by and see it.

If you can't make it on Sunday, but can make it before then, just let us know and we'll open the museum for you.

Next week, we'll be getting ready for the book sale - which happens on the 4th and 5th of August - then after that, we'll be working on getting the businesses display up and running. If you have pictures of current, recent or old businesses or have a story to tell, please get in touch with Peter Campbell.
We're open Wednesdays and Sundays, 2pm-4pm, and by request. Your comments are always welcome!
