Butchers, bakers and blacksmiths made Otautau buzz. Hotels, banks and sawmills were also numerous. We wanted to explore this side of Otautau history, so our next display will feature the businesses of Otautau.
We will present photographs from our collection but we hope you - the community - will come forward with something that we may not have.
Your recollections and photographs of old and new businesses would be most welcome...but hurry because the display starts in August! Please contact, Peter Campbell, Display Manager.
